The ability to isolate specific cell populations is essential in many fields of research. MagCellect Cell Selection Kits, with the aid of a magnetic field, can separate cells via positive or negative selection in a fast, easy and column-free system. Based on the size and nature of the MagCellect ferrofluids, they are also compatible with a variety of magnets as well as with column-based magnetic separation systems.

New MagCellect Human Endoglin/CD105+ Cell Isolation Kit

Endoglin/CD105 is expressed on endothelial cells, some bone marrow cells, and activated monocytes/macrophages. It has been shown to be a functional marker that defines long-term repopulating hematopoietic stem cells from bone marrow "side-population" cells. Multipotent stem cells have been isolated from bone marrow and muscle tissue based on their expression of Endoglin/CD105. The kit separates Endoglin/CD105+ cells by positive selection to a purity of 90 to 95%.

The Mouse Hematopoietic Cell Lineage Depletion Kit is designed for the enrichment of hematopoietic non-lineage committed cells (lineage negative) from mouse bone marrow. Lineage committed cells (lineage positive) targeted for depletion include T cells, B cells, NK cells, monocytes/macrophages, granulocytes and erythrocytes. The resulting cell population is highly enriched for SCF R/c-kit/CD117+ cells to a purity of 40 to 70% (depending on mouse strain) with less than 5% residual lineage positive cells.
