NEW TOOLS: NUCLEAR HORMONE RECEPTOR ANTIBODIES

Nuclear hormone receptors are key targets for drug development as many are implicated in diabetes and other endocrine disorders as well as cancer. These molecules are ligand-dependent transcription factors that regulate gene expression in response to a wide range of developmental, physiological and environmental cues. R&D Systems now offers the most complete selection of highly specific monoclonal antibodies to the nuclear hormone receptor protein family available.

Detection of LXR alpha Ligand Binding Domain in paraffin-mbedded tissue sections of rat liver using R&D Systems' mouse anti-human LXR alpha/NR1H3 Ligand Binding Domain monoclonal antibody (Catalog # PP-PPZ0412-00). Tissue was stained using anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody, HRP-conjugated biotin and DAB (brown).

Detection of PR Isoform B in paraffin- embedded tissue sections of human uterus using R&D Systems' mouse anti-human PR/NR3C3 monoclonal antibody (Catalog # PP-H5344-00). Tissue was stained using anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody, HRP-conjugated biotin and DAB (brown).

Figure 3. Detection of REVERB beta in paraffin-embedded tissue sections of rat epididymis using R&D Systems' mouse anti-human REVERB beta/NR1D2 monoclonal antibody (Catalog # PP-H2729-00). Tissue was stained using anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody, HRP-conjugated biotin and DAB (brown). Figure 4. Detection of ER alpha in paraffin-embedded tissue sections of human uterus using R&D Systems' mouse anti-human ERa/NR3A1 monoclonal antibody (Catalog # PP-H4624-00). Tissue was stained using anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody, HRP-conjugated biotin and DAB (brown).

Figure 5. Detection of PNR in paraffin-embedded tissue sections of rat retina using R&D Systems' mouse anti-human PNR/NR2E3 monoclonal antibody (Catalog # PP-H7223-00). Tissue was stained using anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody, HRP-conjugated biotin and DAB (brown).
