R&D Systems new Human Angiogenesis Fluorokine® MultiAnalyte Profiling Base Kit (Catalog #LAN000) and analyte-specific bead sets offer a simple approach for measuring multiple angiogenesis-related proteins in a single sample using Luminex® technology. Individual bead sets include antibody-coated microparticles and biotin-conjugated detection antibodies, while the Base Kit contains the other reagents necessary to perform the assay. The antibody-coated microparticles from different kits can be mixed together (multiplexed) and then incubated with a single sample of cell culture supernatant, serum, plasma, urine, or human milk. The captured analytes are subsequently detected using biotin-conjugated detection antibodies, PE-conjugated Streptavidin, and a Luminex Analyzer, which determines the magnitude of the PE-derived signal for each individual analyte.
