Immunocytochemical localization of neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) is observed in rat cerebellum (cryostat sections). Intense staining is seen in Purkinje cells. Tissue sections were stained with R&D Systems goat anti-human NT-3 at 10 µg/mL (Catalog # AF-267-NA). Second-step staining was perfomed using red AEC substrate and nuclei were counterstained with haematoxylin. See IHC Enzymatic Protocol 1.1.

This antibody specifically recognizes human NT-3. This antibody can be used for immunohistochemistry, Western blot, neutralization, and direct ELISA. In Western blots, this antibody shows approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human NT-4
