5T4 was detected in paraffin-embedded human placenta sections using 10 µg/mL sheep anti-human 5T4 affinity-purified polyclonal antibody (Catalog # AF4975). Tissue was subjected to antigen retrieval using the Basic Antigen Retrieval kit (Catalog # CTS013). Tissue was stained using R&D Systems anti-sheep HRP-DAB Cell and Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS019) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). See IHC Enzymatic Protocol 1.0.

This 5T4 antibody has been selected for its ability to recognize human 5T4. This antibody can be used for immunohistochemistry, Western blot, and direct ELISA. In direct ELISAs and Western blots, this antibody shows approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse 5T4.
