Immunohistochemistry

A key to successful identification of cytokines by immunohistochemical (IHC) staining involves careful selection of a cytokine-specific antibody. Many of R&D Systems' antibodies have been extensively tested for IHC applications and they were selected based on a high signal-to-noise ratio. If using R&D Systems' primary antibodies, please refer to product specification sheets to obtain recommended working dilutions. Optimal dilutions should be determined by each individual investigator.

The following protocols have been developed and optimized by R&D Systems' Immunohistochemical Laboratory using frozen and paraffin-embedded tissues. These protocols may need to be modified depending on the type of tissue used.
