| Job Duties: This position will receive final products from the protein purification department, assign part and lot numbers, and conduct quality control tests on the products to include: protein concentration determination, SDS PAGE, Western blotting, endotoxin assay, etc. Develop routine methods for the enzymatic assays for products, provide customer service support by providing pertinent information and by working with manager to design new lab procedures to alleviate problems/complaints. Assist with training new employees and improving lab protocols. May perform other duties as assigned. |
Job Requirements: Successful candidates will have a Bachelors/Masters degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, biomedical science, biochemistry or equivalent with a minimum of 0 to 5 years' related experience with a Bachelors, or 0 to 2 years with a Masters.
