| Job Duties: The responsibilities of this position include designing and conducting cell culture experiments to optimize recombinant protein expression with eukaryotic cell systems. Develop new cell culture media and processing methods to improve protein yield, process efficiency to meet strategic business need. Work closely with team members and interact with scientists in molecular biology, protein purification and other related departments to develop highly valuable products. Requires lifting up to 40 lbs, abstract reasoning, communication and problem solving skills. |
Job Requirements: Successful candidates will have a PhD in Cell Biology, Biochemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Microbial Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 0-5 years experiences in media and cell culture development or related field. Must be able to demonstrate technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thinking. Industrial experience in cell culture, molecular biology and/or protein purification will be highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal skill is required.
