Job Duties: BiosPacific Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of rare reagents to the commercial diagnostic industry. We specialize in antibodies and antigens used in the development of automated, rapid and manual enzyme immunoassays. Responsibilities Our customer base is international in scope and includes large instrument based companies as well as small rapid testing companies. Our strength lies in the fact that we have excellent relationships with our end users and provide excellent customer service in a timely fashion.
Job duties include: - Manage and grow a specific sales territory in an effective and efficient manner by: a) Contacting existing customers to identify new opportunities. b) Contacting new customers to identify potential. c) Providing a quote on products from qualified leads. d) Building relationships with customer base. - Technical problem solving and follow up. - Product cross-referencing. - Assess, evaluate and prioritize new opportunities as required

Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following: - Be highly self-motivated. - Have strong written and oral communication skills. - Have a strong science and technical background. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Thorough understanding of the diagnostic customer and market in general. - Ability to work well within a team as well as independently. - Proficiency with Word, Excel and Platinum. - Understanding of FDA regulated environment.
Education and Experience Bachelors in Biology, Chemistry or related science field. A minimum of 2 years' related experience in diagnostics or clinical-oriented research environment, preferably in the fields of antibody development or production, clinical lab or immunology research. 10-20% travel as needed to support sales territory. Must have valid drivers' license.
