Sample Preparation
- Total prepared sample volume needed per well is 50 microliters.
- Serum and plasma samples require a 50-fold dilution. For testing samples in duplicate, a suggested 50-fold dilution is 10 microliters of sample + 490 microliters of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48.
- Cell culture supernate samples require a 10-fold dilution. For testing samples in duplicate, a suggested 10-fold dilution is 25 microliters of sample + 225 microliters of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48.
- Urine samples require a 5-fold dilution. For testing samples in duplicate, a suggested 5-fold dilution is 50 microliters of sample + 200 microliters of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48.
- Saliva samples require a 100-fold dilution. For testing samples in duplicate, a suggested 100-fold dilution is 10 microliters of sample + 990 microliters of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48.
- Human milk samples require a 200-fold dilution. For testing samples in duplicate, a suggested 200-fold dilution is 10 microliters of sample + 190 microliters of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48. After this initial 20-fold dilution, combine 20 microliters of the diluted sample + 180 microliters of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48 for a final 200-fold dilution.
