Fluorokine MAP Assay Principle for the Multiplex Kits
Fluorokine MAP Assay Principle for the Multiplex Kits
Slide 1
Analyte specific antibodies are pre-coated onto color-coded microparticles.
Slide 2
Analyte specific antibodies capture the analyte of interest.
Slide 3
Biotinylated antibodies specific to the analyte of interest are added and form an antibody-antigen sandwich.
Slide 4
Streptavidin-PE is added.
The microparticles are read using a Luminex® 100™ analyzer. One laser classifies the microparticle and determines the analyte that is being detected and the second laser determines the magnitude of the PE-derived signal, which is in direct proportion to the amount of bound analyte.
Typical standard curves for IL-1β, IL-10, and IL-6 run simultaneously.
