Sample Preparation
Total prepared sample volume needed per well is 50 microliters.
When assaying TIM-1/KIM-1/HAVCR and FABP1/L-FABP, serum, plasma, and urine samples require a 4-fold dilution. For testing sample in duplicate, a suggested 4-fold dilution is 60 µL of sample + 180 µL of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48 (1X).
When assaying Cystatin C, Lipocalin-2/NGAL, and Osteopontin, serum, plasma, and urine samples must be further diluted 50-fold to a final 200-fold dilution. For testing samples in duplicate, complete the 200-fold dilution by adding 10 µL of the 4-fold diluted sample + 490 µL of Calibrator Diluent RD6-48 (1X).
