Fluorokine Multianalyte Profiling kits are highly efficient assays designed for the simultaneous detection of process-related molecules. Detection is achieved through a bead-based antibody-antigen sandwich method. Briefly, samples are incubated with color-coded beads that are pre-coated with analyte-specific capture antibodies for the molecule of interest. Expression levels are determined following incubation with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-conjugated phycoerythrin (PE). Using a Luminex® analyzer, independent lasers determine the color of each bead and the magnitude of the PE-derived signal, which is directly proportional to the levels of bound analyte.

How to use Fluorokine MAP kits:
Fluorokine MAP kits are configured as a Base kit and a panel of separate Bead Sets. Each Bead Set contains antibody-coated beads and biotinylated detection antibodies. The Base Kit contains everything else you need to perform the assay. This arrangement allows the end-user maximum flexibility in creating panel composition. Protein measurements are achieved using a dual-laser flow-based detection instrument such as the Luminex analyzer. Fluorokine MAP Multiplex Premixed Kits contain bead sets and biotinylated detection antibodies that are pre-mixed in one vial.
