Sample Preparation
Total prepared sample volume needed per well is 50 microliters.
Serum and plasma samples require a 10-fold dilution. A suggested 10-fold dilution is 30 microliters of sample + 270 microliters of Calibrator Diluent RD6-55 (1:2). While 100 microliters of prepared (diluted) sample is added to each well, the actual serum/plasma volume in each well will be less than 10 microliters. Pipetting less than 10 microliters of serum/plasma is not recommended due to potential pipetting inaccuracy. Samples may be further diluted if necessary to bring sample data within the standard curve range.
Cell culture supernates can be run undiluted with no matrix effects or interference. Maximum sample requirement per well is 100 microliters. Samples may be further diluted if necessary to bring sample data within the standard curve range.
