Quantikine mRNA assays quantitate gene-specific mRNA using a non-radioactive, microplate-based format with signal amplification and colorimetric detection. These assays are as easy to perform as an ELISA and have several notable features.
Features
| Sample Template |
 |
| Multiple targets can be tested on the same microplate. The format above shows sixteen samples (A-P) tested for two targets. This template is for demonstration. It can be varied to fit each assay. |

- No target amplification required, as in PCR
- High throughput capabilities
- Uses cell lysate, total RNA, or poly(A)+ RNA samples
- Measures multiple analytes on one microplate
- Utilizes a conventional microplate reader
- Sensitive in the low attamole range
- Five hours to results
Kit Configuration
Each Quantikine mRNA kit contains all necessary components ready-to-run assay requires no additional development. It is comprised of two modules, a Base Kit and analyte-specific Probes and Calibrator Kit. For greater flexibility, the Probes and Calibrator Kits and the Base Kit can also be purchased individually for multi-analyte analysis.
Base Kit
- Cell Lysis Buffer
- Substrate
- Conjugate
- Diluents
- Hybridization Plate
- Capture Plate
- Protocol Manual
Probes and Calibrator Kit
- Gene-specific Probes and RNA Standard
- Gene-specific Insert
