mRNA Quantitation Kits
mRNA Quantitation Kits

Quantikine mRNA assays quantitate gene-specific mRNA using a non-radioactive, microplate-based format with signal amplification and colorimetric detection. These assays are as easy to perform as an ELISA and have several notable features.

Features

Sample Template

Multiple targets can be tested on the same microplate. The format above shows sixteen samples (A-P) tested for two targets. This template is for demonstration. It can be varied to fit each assay.

  • No target amplification required, as in PCR
  • High throughput capabilities
  • Uses cell lysate, total RNA, or poly(A)+ RNA samples
  • Measures multiple analytes on one microplate
  • Utilizes a conventional microplate reader
  • Sensitive in the low attamole range
  • Five hours to results

Kit Configuration

Each Quantikine mRNA kit contains all necessary components ready-to-run assay requires no additional development. It is comprised of two modules, a Base Kit and analyte-specific Probes and Calibrator Kit. For greater flexibility, the Probes and Calibrator Kits and the Base Kit can also be purchased individually for multi-analyte analysis.

Base Kit

  • Cell Lysis Buffer
  • Substrate
  • Conjugate
  • Diluents
  • Hybridization Plate
  • Capture Plate
  • Protocol Manual

Probes and Calibrator Kit

  • Gene-specific Probes and RNA Standard
  • Gene-specific Insert
