A cell isolation system containing antibodies for the selection and detection of intended target cells.

Target cells which are bound by the biotinylated selection antibody are then captured by Streptavidin-conjugated Ferrofluid magnetic particles (MagCellect™ Streptavidin Ferrofluid, Catalog # MAG999, or equivalent).	Target cells are isolated from the sample by positive selection using a MagCellect Magnet (Catalog # MAG997), or equivalent. Positive enrichment is achieved by simply aspirating the media containing non-captured cell types. Importantly, both negative and positive cell fractions are still viable after separation.
Following resuspension in PlusCellect Buffer, the efficiency of enrichment can be assessed with the fluorochrome-conjugated detection antibody provided. Target cell enrichment is typically between 70 and 98%.
