Cell Enrichment Columns are available to purify all T cells and specific T cell subpopulations by high affinity negative selection.
T Cell Enrichment Columns
Mononuclear cell suspensions are loaded onto T Cell Enrichment Columns containing glass beads coated with Ig and anti-Ig. B cells bind to anti-Ig coated beads by F(ab)-surface Immunoglobulin (Ig) interactions. Monocytes bind to Ig coated beads via Fc interactions. The resulting column eluate contains highly enriched T cell populations.
CD3+ is a universal marker for T cells. Total CD3+ cell recovery ranges between 30% and 50% of initial CD3+ cells loaded. The purity of recovered cells ranges from 85% to 95%. These enriched T cell populations are then available for cell culture, activation studies, phenotyping, immune status monitoring, and flow cytometry.
Features

- Purifies CD3+ T cells to 85 – 95%
- Based upon gravitational flow
- Simple procedure
- No specialized equipment required
Kit Contents
- Cell Selection Column
- 10X Column Buffer
Subtype Specific T Cell Enrichment Columns
T Cell Enrichment Column Kits are also available to isolate specific T cell subpopulations of interest. Before loading onto T Cell Subset Columns, leukocyte suspensions are incubated with a mixture of monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibody cocktails are designed to recognize undesired T cells and other undesired cell populations. Samples are subsequently loaded onto enrichment columns containing glass beads coated with Ig and anti-Ig. Following simple gravitational flow, B cells, monocytes, and the undesired T cells are removed from the sample via high affinity negative selection. Kits are available for the purification of CD4+, CD8+, memory, and naïve T cells.
Features
- Available for specific CD4+/CD8+ T cell populations
- Purifies desired T cell population to 85 – 95%
- Minimal depletion of desired T cell type
