|Detection of Integrin alpha 4/CD49d in Human Blood Lymphocytes by Flow Cytometry. Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with Mouse Anti-Human Integrin alpha 4/CD49d PerCP‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1354C, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # IC002C, open histogram). The Integrin alpha 4 subunit, also known as CD49d and VLA-4 alpha subunit, forms heterodimers with Integrin beta 1 (CD29) or beta 7. Integrins alpha 4 beta 1 (VLA4) and alpha 4 beta 7 are both receptors for fibronectin and VCAM. Integrin alpha 4 beta 7 also binds the mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule (MAdCAM-1). On the cell surface, VLA4 will participate in homotypic binding between endothelial cells and leukocytes. The extracellular domains of human and mouse Integrin alpha 4 share 85% aa sequence identity.
The reconstitution calculator allows you to quickly calculate the volume of a reagent to reconstitute your vial. Simply enter the mass of reagent and the target concentration and the calculator will determine the rest.
