Intracellular Staining by Flow Cytometry
|Detection of Survivin in Human Blood Lymphocytes by Flow Cytometry. Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with Mouse Anti-Human Survivin Fluorescein-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # IC6472F, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # IC002F, open histogram). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Survivin is a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) family and can inhibit apoptosis induced by a variety of factors. It is expressed in most human cancers but not in normal adult tissues. Survivin is expressed in a cell cycle-dependent manner and associates with the mitotic apparatus.
R&D Systems personnel manually curate a database that contains references using R&D Systems products. The data collected includes not only links to publications in PubMed, but also provides information about sample types, species, and experimental conditions.
