Detection of TRA-1-81 in BG01V Human Cells by Flow Cytometry. BG01V human embryonic stem cells were stained with Mouse Anti-Human TRA-1-81 Alexa Fluor® 488‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB8495G, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # IC015G, open histogram). Immunocytochemistry
TRA-1-81 in BG01V Human Embryonic Stem Cells. TRA-1-81 was detected in immersion fixed BG01V human embryonic stem cells using Mouse Anti-Human TRA-1-81 Alexa Fluor® 488‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (green; Catalog # FAB8495G) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Background: TRA-1-81
The TRA-1-81 antibody reacts with a high-molecular-mass carbohydrate epitope on the surface of human embryonal carcinoma (EC), embryonic germ (EG), embryonic stem (ES), and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.  TRA-1-81 is an epitope expressed on podocalyxin, also known as Podocalyxin-Like Protein-1 (PCLP1 or PODXL), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein.
