Key information: Mito-HE is a red fluorescent mitochondrial superoxide indicator in live cells.Used for: live cell imaging, mitochondrial superoxide detection in Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease in vitro models.
Application: confocal imaging, flow cytometry.
Properties and Photophysical Data: Selective for mitochondrial superoxides over other reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. Excitation and emission maxima (λ) are 510 nm and 580 nm, respectively; extinction coefficient = 117,000 M-1cm-1.
It is recommended to prepare stock solutions in DMSO.
