VEGF-C: ProductsVascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) and VEGF-D constitute a VEGF subfamily that shares the conserved VEGF homology domain (VHD) with other VEGF family members, but is distinguished by their preferential formation of non-covalent homodimers. VEGF-C (Cys156Ser) is a selective agonist of VEGF R3 and does not bind VEGF R2 (Joukov, V. et. al., 1998, J. Biol. Chem. 273:6599).
