FAQs for CCR6 Antibody - BSA Free

Q: I am looking for an anti-bovine CCR6 antibody and I see your antibody below was raised in goat so may cross react. Do you know if it can be used in cattle for flow cytometry? CCR6 Antibody (NB100-713)
A: Unfortunately, the species that the antibody is made in is no indicator of the species it will react to. In this case, the immunogen for NB100-713 shares just 57% similarity with bovine CCR6, so this antibody will almost certainly not cross-react with bovine. In this case, the immunogens for NLS356 and NBP1-88565 shares 79% similarity with bovine and have the highest chance of cross-reactivity of any antibodies we carry, although this is still below the 85% that we generally prefer to recommend for cross-reactivity. These are the best two we currently have for your species.
