Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: OATP2/8 Antibody (MDQ) [NB100-74482]
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: OATP2/8 Antibody (MDQ) [NB100-74482] - Analysis of OATP8 in HepG2 Cells. Cells were grown on chamber slides and fixed with formaldehyde prior to staining. Cells were probed without (control) or with a OATP8 monoclonal antibody at a dilution of 1:20 overnight at 4C, washed with PBS and incubated with a DyLight-488 conjugated secondary antibody. OATP8 staining (green), F-Actin staining with Phalloidin (red) and nuclei with DAPI (blue) is shown.Immunohistochemistry: OATP2/8 Antibody (MDQ) [NB100-74482]

FAQs for OATP2/8 Antibody (MDQ)
-
Q: The customer is very confused with product name of #NB100-74482. SLC01B3(MDQ/5F260) was indicated on the vial label. SLC01B3 is alternative name of OATP8. But OATP2(MDQ) was indicated on the datasheet on your web. Furthermore, when the customer searched 5F260 on your web, #NB600-1158 (OATP8 Antibody (5F260)) appeared. I think something is wrong for #NB100-74482. Could you confirm the product name of suppliers' and let us know? As far as I looked the Internet, Clone MDQ reacts with both OATP2 and OATP8. Clone 5F260 also reacts with both OATP2 and OATP8? Is MDQ identical with 5F260?
A: Clone MDQ and clone 5F260 are two separate clones generated using the same immunogen. Both are also predicted to react with both OATP2 and OATP8, based on the sequence similarity.
