Immunohistochemistry : TIM-1/KIM-1/HAVCR

TIM-1 in Rat Kidney.
TIM-1 in Rat Kidney.
T cell Immunoglobulin and Mucin domain-containing (TIM-1), also known as Kidney Injury Molecule 1 (KIM-1), was detected in frozen sections of rat kidney using goat anti-rat TIM-1 affinity-purified polyclonal antibody (Catalog # AF3689). Tissue was stained using R&D Systems anti-goat HRP-DAB Cell and Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).

This antibody has been selected for its ability to recognize rat TIM-1. In Western blots, this antibody shows approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse TIM-1 and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human TIM-1.

Secondary Antibodies
R&D Systems offers a wide range of biotinylated, HRP-conjugated, fluorochrome-labeled, and unlabeled species-specific secondary antibodies. Our NorthernLights™ fluorescent secondary antibodies are available with three distinct excitation and emission maxima, making them ideal for multicolor fluorescence microscopy.

TIM-1 in Human Kidney.
TIM-1 in Human Kidney.
T cell-immunoglobulin-mucin (TIM-1) was detected in paraffin-embedded human kidney tubule sections using 25 µg/mL mouse anti-human TIM-1 monoclonal antibody (Catalog # MAB1750). Tissue was stained using R&D Systems anti-mouse HRP-DAB Cell and Tissue Staining Kit (Catalog # CTS002; brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). See IHC Enzymatic Protocol 1.0.

This antibody was selected for its ability to detect human TIM-1. In direct ELISAs and Western blots, this antibody does not cross-react with recombinant mouse TIM-1, recombinant mouse TIM-2, or recombinant human TIM-3.
