Biological Activity

Cantharidin is a natural toxin inhibitor of protein phosphatases 1 and 2A (Ki values are 1.1 and 0.19 μM respectively); similar to okadaic acid (Cat. No. 1136). Displays > 500-fold selectivity over PP2B.
