Why use LinkAble Antibody Conjugation Kits?

Antibody conjugation kits enable in-house antibody labeling so researchers can evaluate performance quickly and consistently. LinkAble antibody conjugation kits are designed for early-stage screening workflows, allowing you to label small amounts of primary antibody with HRP or fluorescent dyes and compare candidates side-by-side in the same assay. This helps reduce delays, avoid unnecessary scale-up, and focus resources on antibodies that truly perform.

How Does the LinkAble Antibody Labeling Kit Work?

The LinkAble conjugation kit enables direct antibody labeling by combining your antibody with kit reagents to generate a ready-to-use directly conjugated primary antibody. LinkAble Antibody Conjugation Kits follow a simple, user-friendly workflow for in-house antibody labeling, as illustrated below. Antibodies conjugated with LinkAble kits are ready to use in downstream applications like western blot, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry without additional antibody purification steps.

Choosing the Right Antibody Conjugation Kit for Your Assay

Choose based on your assay, label, antibody amount, and screening scale. HRP antibody conjugation kits are designed for enzyme-based detection workflows such as ELISA, IHC, and Western blot, while PE, APC, and PE-Cy7 antibody labeling kits support flow cytometry screening.

  • Screening small amounts? Start with 25 µg or 100 µg reaction sizes to conserve valuable material.
  • Comparing multiple candidates? Use multi-pack options to evaluate antibodies, labels, or assay conditions side-by-side.
  • Scaling after selection? Move to larger kit sizes once you’ve identified the best candidate.

What is the labeling chemistry used in LinkAble Antibody Conjugation Kits?

LinkAble Antibody Conjugation Kits use amine-reactive chemistry to label antibodies through accessible primary amines, such as lysine residues, on the antibody. In the first activation step, Reagent A modifies the antibody to introduce a reactive handle. In the second conjugation step, Reagent B couples the activated antibody to the selected label, generating a ready-to-use antibody conjugate.
