Immunoprecipitation:FKBP10 AntibodyNBP3-29380] -Detection of human FKBP10 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T and cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-FKBP10 antibody NBP3-29380 (lot NBP3-29380-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. FKBP10 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-FKBP10.. For blotting immunoprecipitated FKBP10, NBP3-29380 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background: FKBP10

The FKBP10 gene encodes for a 582 amino acid long, 64 kDA peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase FKBP10 protein that accelerates the folding of proteins during synthesis through localizing to the endoplasmic reticulum and functioning as a molecular chaperone. FKBP10 is known to interact with various genes such as SLX1A, SLX1B, ELN, SLC2A4, and H2AFX. It has been researched regarding its role in carcinoma, bruck syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta, ovarian cancer, and benign tumors.
