FGF-6 Proteins and Enzymes

FGF-6 is a member of the FGF family of heparin-binding mitogenic peptides. Mature FGF-6 is a 168 amino acid peptide with a predicted molecular mass of approximately 19 kDa. Amino terminal sequencing analysis revealed at least 2 N termini, the non-truncated as well as a truncated form that lacks the first 30 amino acid residues.
