Immunoprecipitation:ARPC3 AntibodyNBP3-29636] -Detection of human ARPC3 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-ARPC3 antibody NBP3-29636 (lot NBP3-29636-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. ARPC3 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-ARPC3 antibody BL21431. For blotting immunoprecipitated ARPC3, NBP3-29636 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

ARPC3 encodes one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. The Arp2/3 protein complex has been implicated in the control of actin polymerization in cells and has been conserved through evolution. The exact role of the protein encoded by this gene, the p21 subunit, has yet to be determined.
