Background: CCL28

CCL28 belongs to CC family chemokine, also named mucosae-associated epithelial chemokine (MEC). The CCL28 cDNA is located on Chr.5 in humans, and the mRNA of CCL28 is highly expressed by epithelial cells of diverse tissues including normal and pathological colon, salivary gland, mammary gland, trachea and rectum. The amino acids sequence of human and mouse CCL28 shares 83 % identity, when the protein is processed to be the mature form. CCL28 is signaling through CCR3 and CCR10, and chemotactic for resting CD4, CD8 T-cells and eosinophils.

FAQs for Recombinant Human CCL28 Protein

Showing  1 - 1 of 1 FAQ Showing All
  • Q: What is the molar mass of your Recombinant Human CCL28 Protein #NBP2-34983-20ug ?

A: Recombinant Human CCL28 Protein #NBP2-34983-20ug's amino acid sequence is  SEAILPIASS CCTEVSHHIS RRLLERVNMC RIQRADGDCD LAAVILHVKR RRICVSPHNH TVKQWMKVQA AKKNGKGNVC HRKKHHGKRN SNRAHQGKHE TYGHKTPY. Results for 108 residue sequence starting "SEAILPIASS":  The protein weighs 12.36 kilodaltons= 12,360 D= 12,360 g/mol=molar mass. [The dalton, symbol Da, is also sometimes used as a unit of molar mass, especially in biochemistry, with the definition 1 Da = 1 g/mol, despite the fact that it is strictly a unit of mass (1 Da = 1 u = 1.660 538 921(73)×10−27 kg).] For 20 ug of protein that is 12.36 kDa= 1,618.12pmol of protein.
