Immunoprecipitation:CLIC4 AntibodyNBP3-30622] -Detection of human CLIC4 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CLIC4 antibody NBP3-30622 (lot NBP3-30622-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. CLIC4 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-CLIC4.. For blotting immunoprecipitated CLIC4, NBP3-30622 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Chloride channels are a diverse group of proteins that regulate fundamental cellular processes including stabilization of cell membrane potential, transepithelial transport, maintenance of intracellular pH, and regulation of cell volume. Chloride intracellular channel 4 (CLIC4) protein, encoded by the CLIC4 gene, is a member of the p64 family; the gene is expressed in many tissues and exhibits a intracellular vesicular pattern in Panc-1 cells (pancreatic cancer cells).
