Western Blot: Ninein Antibody (PSH03-23) [NBP3-32651] - Western blot analysis of Ninein on different lysates with Rabbit anti-Ninein antibody (NBP3-32651) at 1/2,000 dilution.

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32651) at 1/2,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4 overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background: Ninein

Ninein encodes one of the proteins important for centrosomal function. This protein is important for positioning and anchoring the microtubules minus-ends in epithelial cells. Localization of this protein to the centrosome requires three leucine zippers in the central coiled coil domain. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been reported.
