Ras-related Protein 1A (Rap1A) and Ras-related Protein 1B (Rap1B) are membrane-localized members of the Ras small GTPase superfamily of proteins. Rap1A and Rap1B are 184 amino acid (aa) propeptides that are processed into mature 181 aa proteins each with a predicted molecular mass of 21 kDa. Rap1A appears to play a vital role in the cardiovascular system where it regulates cell attachment, migration, and cell-cell junction formation. Rap1A counteracts the mitogenic functions of Ras and several reports suggest that it mediates the progression of multiple cancers where it may regulate metastasis. Rap1B has also been shown to participate in the organization of the vascular lumen by regulating endothelial cell polarity. It also plays a significant role in platelet function, where it mediates adhesion signaling.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32893) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:200,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
Flow Cytometry: Rap1A/B Antibody (JE35-61) [NBP3-32893]
Flow Cytometry: Rap1A/B Antibody (JE35-61) [NBP3-32893] - Flow cytometric analysis of HEK-293 cells labeling Rap1A/B.Cells were fixed and permeabilized. Then stained with the primary antibody (NBP3-32893, 1ug/ml) (red) compared with Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (green). After incubation of the primary antibody at +4℃ for an hour, the cells were stained with a iFluor™ 488 conjugate-Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at +4℃. Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).
