Specificity

This RVF virus antibody was derived from a peptide sequence near the carboxy terminus of the polyprotein precursor translated from the M segment. It will therefore detect both the precursor and the Glycoprotein G2.

  • Q: I am looking at the Rift Valley Fever Antibodies, Cat #: NBP2-41081 and NBP2-41082 and am trying to gather some information on how they were raised/produced. I'm looking to determine the likelihood of cross-reactivity in cell lysate.

    A: NBP2-41081 and NBP2-41082 were raised in rabbits against synthetic peptides.
