Clone M317 was generated from a synthetic peptide (coupled to carrier protein) corresponding to amino acids in the central region of human Semaphorin 3A. The sequence used is highly conserved in rat and mouse Semaphorin 3A, and has low homology to other semaphorin family members. [UniProt# Q14563]

The antibody detects a 95kDa protein corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Semaphorin 3A on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human recombinant Semaphorin 3A and adult mouse brain lysates.

Western Blot: Semaphorin 3A Antibody (M317) [NBP3-23375] - Western blots of human recombinant Semaphorin 3A/Fc chimera (95/125 kDa) (lanes 1-4). The blots were probed with rabbit polyclonal Semaphorin 3A (Central region) at 1:250 (lane 1) and 1:1000 (lane 2) and mouse monoclonal Semaphorin 3A (Central region) at 1:250 (lane 3) and 1:1000 (lane 4). Both antibodies recognize the 95 kDa and 125 kDa forms of the recombinant Semaphorin 3A.
