Western Blot:[NBP3-30247]-

Western Blot:[NBP3-30247]-Detection of human and mouse Hakai by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa, HEK293T and mouse NIH 3T3 cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Hakai antibody used for WB at 0. 1 µg/ml and 1 µg/ml and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. Hakai was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-Hakai antibody, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds and 10 seconds.

Epithelial cell cadherin (CDH1; MIM 192090) is endocytosed as a consequence of tyrosine phosphorylation and ubiquitination. HAKAI is an E3 ubiquitin ligase (see UBE3A; MIM 601623) that mediates ubiquitination of the CDH1 complex.[supplied by OMIM]
