B3GNT1 ( beta -1,3-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase 1; also iGnT) is a 50 kD member of the beta 3GnT family of enzymes. It is synthesized by sensory neurons, endothelial cells and skeletal muscle. In the trans-Golgi, it collaborates with B4GALT1 to generate a linear poly-N-acetyllactosamine sequence that can be incorporated into either N-linked or O-linked glycans. Human B3GNT1 is a 451 amino acid (aa) type II transmembrane protein. It contains an eight aa N-terminal cytoplasmic segment, an extended 28 aa transmembrane region (aa 9-36), and a 379 aa luminal domain (aa 37-415). Over aa 37-415, human B3GNT1 shares 97% aa identity with mouse B3GNT1.

Scientific Data Images for beta-1,4-Glucuronyltransferase 1/B4GAT1 Antibody
Detection of Human and Mouse beta -1,4-Glucuronyltransferase 1/B4GAT1 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of human muscle tissue and mouse muscle tissue. PVDF Membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human beta -1,4-Glucuronyltransferase 1/B4GAT1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6664) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for beta -1,4-Glucuronyltransferase 1/B4GAT1 at approximately 50 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.Applications for beta-1,4-Glucuronyltransferase 1/B4GAT1 Antibody
