PD 90780 is a a nonpeptide inhibitor of NGF binding to p75^NTR (IC₅₀ ~ 1 μM in CHO cells); binds NGF, not p75^NTR. Affinity maybe altered by the presence of TrkA receptors. Neuroprotective.
