Q: I need to know whether the kit No. KA1636 assay the phospholipase D or phospholipase D1?
A: This assay detects the total PLD activity, and thus includes that of PLD1. The activity of PLD1 cannot however be distinguished from that of PLD2 or other similar proteins. KA1636 can detect both phosholipase D1 and D2.
