Q: After downloading the Quantist software, what are the steps to receive a license?
A: Detailed instructions to generate a.req file can be found on page 4 of the product datasheet linked on the Quantist webpage. The.req file should be emailed to Software.Licensing@bio-techne.com. -
A: Quantist Analysis Software is compatible with Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and works only on PC; the software is not compatible with Mac Operating Systems at this time.

Q: Does each full Quantist License have to be renewed annually?
A: No, each full license is a one-time purchase and does not expire. The license can be transferred to a new computer if needed. Please contact Technical Service for assistance. -
Q: How long does it take to receive a Quantist Analysis Software License after sending a.req file to software.licensing@bio-techne.com?
A: Bio-Techne strives to fullfill Quantist License requests within 1 business day of receiving the.req file by email. Please see the Quantist User Guide for further instructions on how to request a License. -
A: Quantist Analysis Software is a commercial Bio-Techne branded software for advanced and intuitive analysis of xPonent data generated with Luminex systems. Quantist Analysis Software enables users to effortlessly edit analyte panels, plate layouts, or sample details, and to evaluate the quality of standards, controls, and unknowns. The Quantist Analysis Software can also be used to easily adjust standard curve parameters, create customizable reports, and perform inter-assay comparisons.

A: Quantist-1 is a license that can be installed on a single computer. Quantist-3 is three licenses that can be installed on three separate computers. Quantist does not limit the number of users who can access and use the software on each computer.

A: For instructions, please see the product datasheet on the Quantist webpage. Additional online Quantist training is available in the free Bio-Techne Academy. Once on Bio-Techne Academy, the steps to access the video training are 1. Select online training; 2. Select the Luminex instrument of choice; 3. Enroll; 4. On the content tab, select the "(instrument name) Quantist Software Training module;" 5. After viewing the training video, please contact Technical Service with any additional questions.
