Ralfinamide mesylate is a sodium channel blocker. Suppresses tetrodotoxin (TTX)-resistant Na⁺ currents approximately twice as selectively as TTX-sensitive currents. Antinociceptive; displays analgesic effects in animal models of inflammatory and neuropathic pain.
