Product Description

Silodosin is a selective α_1A adrenoceptor antagonist (K_i = 0.036 nM). Displays >55 fold selectivity for α_1A over α_1B and α_1D. Inhibits norepinephrine-induced [Ca²⁺]_I increase in α_1A expressing CHO cells (IC₅₀ = 0.32 nM). Inhibits norepinephrine-induced contraction of isolated human prostate tissue.
