Product Description

Key Information: Virginia Orange, Haloalkane is pH sensitive a red cell-permeable fluorogenic fluorescent dye with a chloroalkane handle.

Used for: endosomal uptake assays, protein delivery experiments and evaluation of protein cargo internalization.

Application: Live-cell imaging as a self-labeling tag substrate; fluorescent microscopy and flow cytometry.

Properties and Photophysical Data: shows a high degree of fluorogenicity. Excitation and emission maxima (λ) are 555 nm and 581 nm, respectively; quantum yield = 0.40; extinction coefficient = 90,900 M-1cm-1; pH sensitive fluorescence h = 1.46. PKa = 6.25. Colourless and non-fluorescent at low pH.
