FATP1 cDNA Clones

FATP1 is a multipass protein in the fatty acid transporter protein family. In response to insulin, FATP1 shuttles from intracellular membranes to the plasma membrane, where it mediates cellular uptake of long chain fatty acids. FATP1 is expressed in muscle, intestine, and adipose tissue.
