HERC2 Small Molecules and Peptides

HERC2 (HECT domain and RCC1-like domain-containing protein 2) belongs to the HERC family of ubiquitin ligases. A single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in an evolutionarily conserved region of the HERC2 gene is associated with blue eye color. Additionally, it has been reported that gene-gene interactions between HERC2, OCA2, and MC1R may influence eye, skin, and hair color.
