Slit3 Proteins and Enzymes

Slit3 is a widely expressed secreted ROBO1 and ROBO4 ligand that is important for diaphragm and kidney development. It promotes angiogenesis and the chemokine induced migration of monocytes. A C-terminal fragment of Slit3 can bind heparin and neutralize its anti-coagulant activity.
