TSPAN3 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. It interacts with claudin- 11/CLDN11 and integrins. TSPN3 regulates the proliferation and migration of oligodendrocytes, a process essential for normal myelination and repair.
