Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Ago2/eIF2C2 Antibody [NBP2-99647] - Immunofluorescence staining of Ago2/eIF2C2 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with NBP2-99647 antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG Secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: Ago2/eIF2C2

Ago2 / eIF2C2 encodes a member of the Argonaute family of proteins which play a role in RNA interference. The encoded protein is highly basic, and contains a PAZ domain and a PIWI domain. It may interact with dicer1 and play a role in short-interfering-RNA-mediated gene silencing.
