Biological ActivityCiliobrevin A is a Hedgehog (Hh) pathway antagonist; blocks Sonic hedgehog (Shh)-induced Hh pathway activation (IC50 = 7 μM) downstream of Smo. Perturbs primary cilia formation; inhibits cytoplasmic AAA+ ATPase dynein-dependent microtubule gliding and ATPase activity.
